It was green. That was all that could be said. The grass was freshly cut and green. The trees were filled with big broad green leaves. Bushes where green with new immature green berries. The hills that surrounded the knoll on which the restaurant stood were nothing more lumps of rolling green mounds ground emerald dust. Although it was green, all the colors were represented. The bright blue paint wood that trimmed the white stucco building matched the blue in the sky. The color red striped the signpost that read Splat Donalds followed underneath with Millions and Millions slatted. Yellow was the sphere in the sky and raided a bight light down upon a jester cloaked in primary coolers. He took a deep breath of the crisp fresh air as he walked inside between a pair of etched glass doors. The crossed the checkered black and white tile to walk over to a chair, next to his friend. The friend was a small portly little creature known as a moogle, covered from head to toe and thick white fur. Worn on the small persons body was a ornate set of armor that had a distinct blue hue to it. He sat reading a small red book. He didnt look at the clown friend but instead sat reading, occasionally he scratched at his whiskers. Geep! cried a second creature. A bundle of bells wrapped together around the door handle like grapes on a vine jingled and clanked as the glass door opened. A very cream colored rodent wobbled on its hind legs into the restaurant. Wrapped around her shoulder was a thick brown leather parcel pack. She walked up to the duo who sat at the table, and waved with both hands. Geep! she cried again. Hi Geep! spoke the clown, he turned his head to look at the white furry creature, hey Mog say hi! Hullo Geep, grumbled Mog. His eyes darted away from the pages of his bock only momentary as he gave a small nod. Geep! she poke once more, tugging out of her parcel pack a pretty pink parcel painted partially purple with an inscription. She tossed it up on the table. Thanks Geep! spoke the clown. Mog gave out a heavy sigh as he put his book down. So what is it this time Splat? Some child in distress? An emperor wants to take over the world? Oh wait, I knowsome evil warlock is going to enslave a group of mercenary bunnies? Uh-uh, muttered Splat the clown, its from some guy named Talps. Oh, an evil twin scheme. Evil twin? Yeah, Talps is splat back-words .. never mind, the moogle grumbled. He rubbed his face and rolled his neck. Let me get ready for this. Probably inside is some evil monster that Ill have to dispatch. Means I need my sword. One second ok, ready. The moogle had wandered into another room and came back with his helmet shield and word while he spoke. He rolled his shoulder and gave out a good yawn. Ok, open it. The clown nodded. The pulled off the pink and purple wrapping to reveal a bright frost green hat box. Hey! Maybe its a new hat! I like hats! Remember that one time when that evil wizard made me that voodoo hat and had me making voodoo pies for his undead army? Oh man that was classic! It took you like a week to realise--- Gripe clown! Open the box already! Splat shrugged. He pulled off the lid. He looked inside. There was a bright flash He vanished. The moogle walked up to the box and with hunched tried shoulders gave a deep sigh. He looked inside. * * * So a catfish-like man was flying in the sky holding onto some vest that looked like it belonged in the wardrobe to the village people, when all of the sudden a huge gasping hole in the sky opened up in front of him, sucking him into oblivion. * * * When he came to, he was in a room that smelled like vomit. His head rang like the pipes of an organ. He clenched his head. As he breathed deeply, he became aware that it not only was the room which reeked of puke, but there were small pieces of macaroni mixed with whiskey ground into his shirt. He was in the dunk tank again. He closed his eyes and leaned his lead back against the laminated wall. His hands reached up to his worn eyelids. He rubbed the small purple saucers that hunger under his eyes like wires made of deep wrinkles. |
