![]() The Winners Winner: You Won't Believe What it Can Do! M3 shows everyone what's up this year with a story with a simple premise: a door to door salesman workaholic who is completely devoted to his job. What could possibly go wrong for such a swell, likeable guy? Runner Up: Little Suzy and the Demon Rawley places for the second year alone using a story that combine classic Rawley with something a bit darker, resulting in a piece soaked with Rawley's trademark charm as well as a surprising amount of grit. Second Runner Up: A Not So far Off Place Rawley isn't the only fellow with a repeat placing this year -- DL captures a spot in the top three this year using a piece entirely unlike his previous year's winning entry: A quaint love story with a Kupop twist. Other Entries (In No Particular Order) Bloodsuckers by Scen Scen unleashes a tongue-in-cheek story in his own unique style that was one of this year's most colorful and entertaining entries. Deus ex Libre by XStryker H.P. Lovecraft anyone? This piece is absolutely dripping with it, focusing on a dark entity from Kupop's ancient past. Demon John by ExNihilo Creepy, compelling, and absurdly well written: be nice to your ma and pa, or Demon John will come getcha. You Call Him MISTER Bones by Jay2K Jay's introductory Iron Writer story, like many other people's stories, features a travelling salesman, but unlike many other salesmen in those stories, Mister Bones isn't having as many problems with his job: in fact, he's practically making a killing. The Means to an End by Dneltheexmage Most original presentation for a story this year goes to D'nel for this highly unusual story starring three perspectives that are far from ordinary. Patience by Storm Kupopolis, meet Storm. This first time poster presents a surprisingly complete and compelling story with a tale of love at its roots. Peace in our Time by Celiose Celiose blends his classic-in-Kupopolis political style to present a story based around his most fond creation, Tasnica, that blends the often seen present, the rarely seen past, as well as the future, hardly heard of since Neo. Breathless by Delphina Another first time poster, Delphina pitches a jigsaw puzzle story that has extra fun with one of the three ingredients. The Dying Season by SilentJerry Jerry brings us a new cast of characters in and from familiar places. THE ISOBEL TRILOGY IS COMPLETE! Chasing the Desert Widow by Jipster A young girl in search of her mother, a criminal investigator, and a bitter old woman share a story in the mountain town of exiled Gerudo. Fate's Apostate by Nick It's the newest band from the Guardian scene: Inside the Music brings you Fate's Apostate. Even Then, Birds Still Sing Micheal steps back the scale of his story, opting for an intraverted, thoughtful piece focusing on a few relationships and the concepts of fate. A Certain Attraction by Zephyr Zephyr's entry this year has all the elements a story needs to work: An uber power angel-like being, latin, and a sense of mystery so thick you could cut it with a chainsaw. Clover by Stubbs Easily the most ambitious post ever by a first-year entrant, Stubbs managed to turn a lot of his first kupop story, a thought provoking tale that keeps you at wits end -- in that good way. ![]()
