"Admit him at once," Sung Chiang said, as he reclined in his throne, his three faces lighted with matching smiles.
When Mu entered, his fine Hylian silks were somewhat tattered, and his body showed signs of somewhat recent combat. A slender, curved sword -- new to Mu's ensemble -- hung from his belt, in a decorative scabard. Over his shoulder, Mu carried a large burlap sack, stained with blood.
"Master," Mu said, as he came down onto his knees, "I believe I have found another piece of the prophecy."
"I am glad," Sung Chiang replied. "Tell me of your exploits, then."
"I travelled to a world called the World of Titans. The Titans, for which the world takes its name, are giant beasts who can kill a man by stepping on him. They rule over pathetic, leaderless communities of mortals who are helpless against them. The world is a desolate, harsh place, filled with fear and almost entirely devoid of hope."
"Sounds lovely," Sung Chiang observed.
"My cricket heard the whispers of the land, and told me that certain priestesses among the humans of this world have the gift of foresight. These priestesses, I would discover, are called the sa'Bleu, and they are forced to maintain many secret enclaves out of fear for the great Giant which rules the desert where they live. The cricket guided me to an ancient ruin, where a coven of the sa'Bleu had hidden themselves. I disposed of them, took what food and supplies I needed from their corpses, and have returned to you with the spoils from their temple."
Mu hefted the sack of spoils over his shoulder and let it clatter to the ground. A small trove of coins, riches and jewelry spilled out of it.
"I see no prophecy among that loot," Sung Chiang remarked.
Mu kneeled and dug through the sack, extricating from within it a set of three engraved gold tablets.
"Oh," Sung Chiang said, "... That could be it. I didn't see that, what with all the treasure in the way."
With a gesture, Sung Chiang raised both the enormous sack of treasure and the gold tablets up into the air. As before, the Deft One's guardians arrived to cart away Mu's prizes.
"I must say, thus far you are working out very well," Sung Chiang said, returning his attention to Mu. "Much better, at any rate, than your four peers."
"I am glad you are pleased, master," Mu said.
"Were you aware that two of your compatriots have fallen while carrying out my tasks?" Sung Chiang asked.
Mu paused. "Perhaps they were unworthy of your gifts, master," Mu said. "I have no tears of grief for the unworthy."
"Nor I," Sung Chiang said. "Indeed, nor I. You are dismissed: take your leave to go and... help... one of my other minions in their searches."
